HELP CHANNELS

How to Reach Our Privacy Desk

If something in this policy needs clarifying, our privacy desk answers directly. Pick the channel that suits you — we keep response windows tight so your data question doesn't sit in a...

Privacy Email Send your access, deletion or correction request to our privacy mailbox. Include your account handle and we'll match it to your file within two working days in Indonesia.
In-App Ticket Open a ticket from your account menu and tag it Privacy. Tickets route straight to the data team rather than general support, so policy questions skip the front line entirely.
Postal Notice For formal notices under data protection law, our registered correspondence address is published in the footer. We accept signed letters and reply through the same channel where required.
EDITORIAL CLARITY

Editorial Trust Behind This Policy

This policy isn't a copy-paste template. Here's who shapes it and how we keep it honest.

Named Officer

A named data protection officer signs off every revision of this policy. You can request their contact card through the privacy desk if you need a formal point of escalation.

Quarterly Review

We re-read this document every three months against Indonesian financial and consumer regulations, then publish a dated changelog so you can see exactly what shifted between versions.

Legal Counsel

External counsel licensed in Indonesia reviews material changes before they go live. That second pair of eyes keeps the wording aligned with current statutory expectations in supported regions.

Plain Language

We rewrite legalese into readable sentences. If a clause needs a defined term, we define it on the same line rather than burying it in a glossary you'll never click.

Audit Trail

Every access, export and deletion request is logged with a timestamp. Internal audits sample those logs monthly to confirm the privacy desk acted within the windows we promise here.

No Data Sales

We've put a hard line in writing: gede4d does not sell account data to third-party marketers. Processing partners are scoped to delivery functions only, under contract.

Consistency Across Our Policy Pages

This privacy policy sits alongside our terms, cookie notice and account rules. Here's how the documents line up so you don't get conflicting answers.

Privacy vs Terms
The terms govern your account contract; this policy governs your data. Where they overlap on account closure, both documents point to the same 30-day window.
Privacy vs Cookies
Cookies are detailed in their own notice with a per-category toggle. This policy covers the broader data picture and references the cookie notice for browser-side specifics.
Privacy vs KYC
KYC verification rules sit in our account policy. This document explains what happens to the verification documents you upload and how long we keep them.
Privacy vs Payments
Wallet handling for DANA, OVO, GoPay and QRIS is summarised here and detailed in the payments policy. Both documents agree on retention windows for transaction records.
Privacy vs Promotions
Promotion eligibility data is described in the promo terms. This policy explains the marketing-consent toggle and how to withdraw it without losing your account.
Privacy vs Security
Security controls live in our security statement. This policy references those controls when describing how we protect the personal data we've already collected from you.
Privacy vs Complaints
Complaint handling is in the dispute policy. Privacy-specific complaints follow the same escalation ladder but route first through the named data officer described above.

What This Policy Page Shows You

The privacy page is built so you can find an answer without reading end-to-end. Here are the elements we put on this layout to make policy...

Anchored Sections

Each clause has a stable anchor link. If our support team points you to a specific paragraph, the URL drops you straight onto that line rather than the page top.

Dated Changelog

A version history sits at the foot of the page with the date of every revision. You can compare current wording against what applied when you opened your account.

Right-to-Request Buttons

Inline buttons next to access, correction and deletion clauses open a pre-filled request form. You don't need to draft an email to exercise a right.

Definition Tooltips

Hover any defined term and the definition surfaces in place. We keep the glossary short so the policy reads as one document rather than two.

Language Toggle

The page is written in en-ID English and mirrored in Bahasa Indonesia. The toggle preserves your scroll position so you can compare clauses side by side.

Print-Friendly View

A print view strips navigation and renders the policy as a clean PDF-ready document. Useful if your bank or employer asks for a signed copy of the wording.

Privacy Questions We Hear Most

Your account handle, verified identity basics, wallet reference for DANA, OVO, GoPay or QRIS, transaction history, and device session signals. Nothing beyond that without a clear purpose written into this policy.

Yes. Open a privacy ticket from your account menu or email the privacy desk. We return a structured export within the statutory window applicable in Indonesia, usually inside ten working days.

Request closure through the privacy desk. We delete marketing data immediately and purge transactional records once the financial retention period required of us in supported regions has fully elapsed.

No. We do not sell or rent account data. Processing partners only see what they need to deliver a function — wallet settlement, fraud checks, message delivery — and they're contractually scoped to that role.

Your DANA, OVO, GoPay or QRIS reference is tokenised on our side. We don't store full wallet credentials, and settlement flows through the wallet provider's own secured channel rather than ours.

We post the new version with a dated changelog and notify you in-app before material changes apply. You get a window to review before continuing, and you can close your account if you disagree.

Start with our named data officer through the privacy desk. If the response doesn't resolve it, you can escalate to the relevant Indonesian data protection authority — contact details are published in the footer.
